Why do you want to be part of the staff team?(80 words min)
I want to be a part of the staff team because I don't see much activity within the current staff team. The only person I see that is on the team is Rug. I want to change this and help the server become more successful, and keep people who break the rules from breaking them.
How long have you played on the server?(72 hours min)
20 hours so far, but I just started this week. So I don't have 72 hours yet.
How many hours do you have on garrys mod?
82 hours on this account + over 400 on another account that was hacked and taken away from me, then banned.
Any experience as Mod or Admin on other servers?
Yes, I have been a moderator on one other server that I really liked. I really like this server, so that's the reason I'm applying for this one as well. It was a GTARP server so it was close to being DarkRP.
What times are you usually on the server?
The times I am usually on the server would be sometime after school (3:00 pm MST - 9:00 pm MST).
What Time zone do you live in?
Mountain time zone, (MST).
A player RDMs someone, and when asked why they say that their friend told them to. How do you handle this situation?:
I would say that this is no excuse to RDM someone, and that they need a valid reason. They need to be raiding, mugging, or some other action that allows them to kill another player. I would also ask the friend why they told the RDMer to kill the victim. If it was a dumb enough reason, I might have to punish the RDMer, and give a warning to the friend. If it was a better reason such as the other person broke NLR or something, I would leave them off with a warning and ultimately figure out what happened with that.
A player breaks a rule and says he didn't know because he is new. How do you resolve the situation?:
Depending on the rule, I would do certain things. If it was a rule such as being disrespectful to another player I would let him off with a warning at first, and just ask him to not do it again. If it was a rule like propkilling over and over, I would probably have to do something about it.
A player calls RDM, how do you know who's telling the truth, and how do you handle the situation?:
If there are logs in the server, that would be the most efficient way of telling the truth. Either way, I would confront the suspected RDMer and ask if they did RDM the victim. I would ask the victim how they killed them as well and where. This way, it might help the suspect to remember if they did it or come up front with a confession. If I couldn't find anything out from this (and the logs), then I would leave it. If it happened again and the same outcome came out of not finding anything, I might do something about the person calling out the RDMer, and figure out if he is just doing it to try to get them in trouble.
A player goes on a mass RDM. How do you handle the situation?:
I would take them to a place where they can't shoot anybody, and freeze them in place so I could talk to them. I would tell them they absolutely cannot do that and ask them why they did it. Either way, it's a mass RDM, so I would have to punish the person who did this in an admin sit or another form that is necessary.
A player is prop blocking. How do you resolve the situation?:
If a player was prop blocking then I would find the person who is, and show them that they can't do this and tell them why if they didn't know. Afterwards, I would delete the props that are not supposed to be where they are. If they continued this I would have to warn them or punish them with an admin sit or another punishment that is necessary.
